Conference Chair of Drip XVII
Condensed Matter Physics Department
University of Valladolid
The 17th International Conference DRIP (Defects-Recognition, Imaging and Physics in Semiconductors) continues a successful series of conferences which started in Montpellier, France, in 1985.
DRIP is an authoritative international conference in the field of physics of semiconductor defects, and it takes place biennially in different countries all over the world. The conference has been providing an outstanding international forum to present and discuss the multifaceted effects of growth, processing, device fabrication and their interrelationships.
DRIP has gained an excellent reputation for its high quality scientific presentations and discussions, and also for the warm atmosphere of its academic interaction among physicists, material scientists and technologists working in this field, which offers an ideal place for networking.
It is our honor and pleasure to welcome you to the next DRIP XVII conference to be held in Valladolid (Spain), from the 8th to the 12th of October, 2017. It is organized by the GdS-Optronlab group of the Condensed Matter Physics Department of the University of Valladolid.
Valladolid is a modern city full of history with one of the world oldest universities. It is in the north-west of Spain and it is well connected to the Madrid airport (principal spanish airport). You will enjoy the historic atmosphere of the city and its University.
We very much hope that you will attend DRIP XVII and find the conference both enjoyable and valuable. We look forward to meeting you in Valladolid.
